Call for Score

Concert Date: September 20th, 2026.

Location: Kings Place, London

Vox Feminarum is an international initiative dedicated to celebrating and elevating the voices of women composers through performance, mentorship, and global artistic exchange. Through concerts, awards, and educational initiatives, the organization creates meaningful opportunities for composers to present their work on international stages while fostering dialogue across cultures and musical traditions.

As part of the Vox Feminarum London Composer Showcase, three composers based in the UK will be selected to participate in a special mentorship and commissioning program. Selected composers will receive artistic mentorship and will be commissioned to compose a new work of 7–10 minutes for flute, oboe, violin, viola, and cello. No electronics are permitted, and composers must attend the premiere in person.

To apply, composers should submit two existing pieces that best represent their artistic voice.

Mentorship will be provided by leading composers and educators, including Helen Grime (Royal College of Music, London), Catherine Kontz (Royal Academy of Music, London), Louise Drewett (Royal Academy of Music, London), Eun Young Lee (Boston Conservatory), and Sungji Hong (University of North Texas). The program will also include leadership training with Kervy Delcy, President of Vox Feminarum and Editor-in-Chief of Echelon Press.

The newly commissioned works will be premiered in London at King’s Place on September 20, 2026, and selected composers will gain international exposure through a broadcast on Echelon Radio and a feature in the 2027 edition of Echelon Magazine, providing global visibility for their work and artistic practice.
